Layering with the third graders. The third graders used tracers/ stencils to create this exciting layering lesson. Starting at the top, students used crayons to color off the edge of the tracer/ stencil onto the paper. This produced the impression of the edge of the tracer. By coloring in an upward motion the students created overlapping colors that look like different grasses.
