Aztec suns

In fifth grade we talked about bi-lateral an radial symmetry.  The students were asked to create a sun on black construction paper while keeping in mind radial symmetry. They were also asked to create a face within their design.  The face had to be bi- laterally symmetrical. They then used metallic colored pencils and special gel markers to color in and enhance the sun design.
